The Fisher family descended upon the Blue Tang Inn from Dec 15-21, 2012.
There is a family freedom and enjoyment found at Blue Tang Inn and San Pedro. We relax in the beautiful surroundings, play in the ocean and immerse ourselves in the Belizean community. Not to mention, the staff takes incredible care of our family and our children!! Thanks to the whole staff as always!! Victor spent an entire day cleaning and polishing 3 conch shells for the kids to take home with them. Thanks, Victor!
Part of our trip was spent on the Catamaran for 3 days along the cayes. We sailed past Caye Caulker, Caye Chapel and anchored near St. Georges Caye.
Curt & Debbie enjoy their Grandchildren aboard the Punta Azul Catamaran in Belize.
We took an incredible local fisherman and personality with us- Gabby! The first day he free dove and brought up about 20 conch and 15 lobster in one hand!! While trolling, we caught a larger grouper, red snapper and 2 barracuda. It was the best and most fresh food I have ever eaten! The kids were right into it all- picking up the fish, watching the conch and lobster be cleaned and cooked.
We stopped to snorkel along the way, picking up beautiful starfish, each with a unique design on the top. The stingrays and nurse sharks swam along with us, providing excitement for the kids.
In the evenings, we played games, listened to music and had some great family laughter! We spent the night under the stars with blankets and pillows on the front trampoline.
I feel incredibly grateful for this family time together. The Blue Tang Inn and Belize are such a special part of our life experience. Thanks Mom and Dad!!
Here are some photos of our trip, which say so much more than I can write!
What a wonderful way to end 2012! Happy 2013!
